Gibbs30 Ride Sharing

This is the Ride Sharing page for the 30th Gibbs Conference on Biothermodynamics.  The conference will be held from September 24-27, 2016.  You can find more information at the conference web page.

Please use this comment thread to arrange ride sharing between the St. Louis Airport (STL) and the Gibbs Conference at the Touch of Nature Environmental Center in Carbondale, IL.  Leave a comment if you are:

  • Willing to give someone a ride to or from the airport, or
  • Looking for a ride to or from the airport.

People posting comments should say what time their flights arrive or leave in order to facilitate match ups. If you live in St. Louis and are willing to offer a ride, please note the time windows you will be driving to/from Gibbs.

People posting comments should also leave their email address in their comment so that ride-requesters and ride-offerers can contact each other. If you would like to avoid automated web crawlers that troll for email addresses for advertisers, simply list your address without the @ sign: for example: ride-offerer at stateuniversity.edu instead of ride-offerer@stateuniversity.edu.  Alternatively, you can use Google's
CAPTCA-based mailhide system.

Note: The organizers will only be sparingly monitoring this site, if at all. If you want a ride or if you are offering a ride, please use this site as a way to initiate contact with other registrants and then directly make arrangements.

Thank you,
Sarah Bondos and Nick Fitzkee, 2016 Co-Organizers

  3. Hi Michael, I would like to join you also. Am arriving in STL at 2:55 pm, so that is just about perfect. Unfortunately, my flight out of STL is at 3:50pm, so I would have to get there a little earlier than 3pm. I do have a KTN (TSA pre check) so 2:30pm would probably would be ok, but that means leaving immediately after the last session. I will send you an email. Looking forward to seeing you, Alex.

  4. MIcheal-- I will be arriving 11:25. Flying out tues at 4:47. So 3pm leaves plenty of room for me, both ways.
I am the last speaker so I can't leave early on tuesday. But I can go immediately after the last question.
